What is SAMe Liver Health used for?

SAMe Liver Health is a vet-recommended liver supplement for cats and dogs that helps to maintain optimal health and function of the liver using ingredients that can be effectively absorbed and used by the body.

This liver supplement for small dogs and cats is formulated with 90 mg of SAMe (S-Adenosyl-Methionine) per tablet. If youre looking for liver support for medium to large dogs, SAMe Liver Health for Dogs is formulated with 225 mg of SAMe per tablet, and is recommended for dogs over 13 lbs.

SAMe Liver Health comes in an unflavored, enteric-coated tablet, making it ideal for pets with sensitive digestion. The enteric coating helps to protect the nutrients from stomach acid so they can be absorbed in the small intestine. For best results, give SAMe Liver Health on an empty stomach one hour prior to feeding.

SAMe vs. milk thistle: which is better for my pet?

Both SAMe and milk thistle are commonly recommended by veterinarians to help support liver health in both dogs and cats.
